RENAL COLIC

Renal Colic is a severe pain caused by the blockage of a uterer, one of two tubes that transport urine from the kidneys to the bladder, by stones called calculus. The smooth ureter's wall contracts to push the stones into the bladder from where it can be expelled. The stones, derived from calcium or from urate salts, vary from the size of a grain of sand to an inch across.
